Pokémon with two types
Multiply the two type modifiers. A shared weakness gives 4× damage; a weakness and a resistance cancel out to 1×. Abilities and other battle effects can change the result.
Complete guide to all 18 Pokémon types with matchups and effectiveness
Types are properties for Pokémon and their moves. Each Pokémon can have one or two types, and each move has exactly one type. Type effectiveness determines how much damage attacks deal. Super effective moves deal 2× damage, not very effective moves deal 0.5× damage, and some types are immune to certain others (0× damage).
